Independent Panels for YouTube is a Chrome extension that modifies the layout of YouTube video watch pages so that the main video/content area and the recommendations sidebar can scroll independently.

Data collection

The extension does not collect, sell, share, transmit, or store personal data.

The extension does not collect:
– personally identifiable information
– authentication information
– financial or payment information
– health information
– personal communications
– location data
– web browsing history
– YouTube account data
– YouTube watch history
– video titles or URLs
– page content
– analytics events

Local settings

The extension stores only user-selected settings through Chrome extension storage:
– whether the extension is enabled
– whether the left scrollbar is hidden
– top offset in pixels
– minimum desktop width in pixels

These settings are used only to control the extension behavior.

Network activity

The extension does not contact external servers.

The extension does not send data to the developer or to any third party.

Third parties

The extension does not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, tracking scripts, or remote code.

Permissions

The extension uses the storage permission only to save user preferences.

The extension runs only on YouTube video watch pages matching:
https://www.youtube.com/watch*
https://youtube.com/watch*

This access is required to apply the independent scrolling layout to the YouTube watch page.
